Bradenton, FL –   Manatee High School and EmpwrU announced on June 10, 2025, its partnership to deliver NIL and Life Skills Education to its athletes. 

“NIL is giving high school athletes a chance to win on and off the field. It’s not just about the money. It’s about the opportunity to build your personal brand, learn important financial skills and get a head start in life.” Manatee High School head football coach, and former NFL and All-American football player at University of Florida, Jacquez Green said. 

"We are excited to partner with EmpwrU to bring NIL education to our student-athletes as well as important life skills such as building a personal brand, financial literacy and understanding the basics of a contract. This will not only empower the athletes to make good decisions for themselves now but also into their adult lives.” said Booster Club President, Bowen Summer.

Manatee High School Athletics has a long history of success both on the field and in the classroom. With 16 state championships and outstanding programs like football, with 6 state championships and the most wins in the state, baseball, cross country and softball, Manatee High School athletics has set the bar for other high schools. Academically, over 20 boys and girls teams have excelled in the classroom by achieving a 3.2 GPA, a 97% graduation rate, and 80% of the student athletes attend colleges and trade schools.
